Recently, the world's largest hydropower project under construction, Baihetan Hydropower Station, has passed the safety appraisal, quality supervision and acceptance of soil and water conservation facilities and environmental protection acceptance during the storage phase, indicating that Baihetan Hydropower Station is ready for storage and power generation, and laying a solid foundation for the successful realization of the "July 1" power generation target.

       The construction process of Baihetan Hydropower Dam has created a number of records, including the world's first seismic parameter for a 300-meter high arch dam, the world's first use of low-heat cement concrete for a 300-meter high arch dam, the world's second-highest total water thrust of 16.5 million tons for the dam, and the world's third-highest height of 289 meters for an arch dam. Baihetan Hydropower Station is the largest hydropower project under construction in the world, with a total installed capacity of 16 million kilowatts, and the underground plants on the left and right banks are equipped with eight hydroelectric generator sets with a capacity of 1 million kilowatts each with fully independent intellectual property rights, which is the world's largest in terms of capacity.

On March 13, the expert group of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. completed the safety appraisal before water impoundment through on-site survey and inspection, review of information and meeting discussion; on March 14, the expert group of Renewable Energy Power Generation Engineering Quality Supervision Station formed the opinion on quality supervision after comprehensive inspection of the project site and careful review of the construction data and unit acceptance records, etc.; on March 16, the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Planning and Design (GIHWPD) On March 16, the expert group of the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design (GIHWRPD) formed the acceptance conclusion after on-site field survey, review of information and full discussion; on March 18, China Three Gorges Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. organized and held an environmental protection acceptance meeting for the impoundment stage at the site, and unanimously agreed to pass the environmental protection acceptance for the impoundment stage of Baihetan Hydropower Station. The Baihetan Hydropower Station project has the conditions for lowering the diversion bottom hole and initial water storage.

In the past few years, the company has submitted a high-quality coagulation construction "report card".



Concrete production systems


       The four HL360-4F4500L mixing buildings of Baihetan Hydropower Station's high and low line concrete production system, designed and manufactured by our company, are equipped with 16 sets of JF5000 self-falling concrete mixers with completely independent intellectual property rights, and since they were put into operation on March 15, 2017,, they have cumulatively produced 8 million cubic meters of concrete.In 2019, Baihetan Hydropower Station's high and low line concrete production system set a world record of 273,000 cubic meters per month and 2.7 million cubic meters of concrete per year for a concrete production system of the same type. The low-line concrete production system completed its mission in November 2020 and was dismantled.
