On March 13, the expert group of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. completed the safety appraisal before water impoundment through on-site survey and inspection, review of information and meeting discussion; on March 14, the expert group of Renewable Energy Power Generation Engineering Quality Supervision Station formed the opinion on quality supervision after comprehensive inspection of the project site and careful review of the construction data and unit acceptance records, etc.; on March 16, the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Planning and Design (GIHWPD) On March 16, the expert group of the General Institute of Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design (GIHWRPD) formed the acceptance conclusion after on-site field survey, review of information and full discussion; on March 18, China Three Gorges Construction (Group) Co., Ltd. organized and held an environmental protection acceptance meeting for the impoundment stage at the site, and unanimously agreed to pass the environmental protection acceptance for the impoundment stage of Baihetan Hydropower Station. The Baihetan Hydropower Station project has the conditions for lowering the diversion bottom hole and initial water storage.
