The Zhouning Hydropower Station is located in Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is the second stage of the Muyang River cascade development, with a controlled watershed area of 511 square kilometers above the dam site, a total reservoir capacity of 47 million cubic meters, a diversion tunnel length of 12.307 km, and a water head of 438 meters. The power station is equipped with two high head water turbine generators with a single capacity of 125 MW, and a total installed capacity of 250 MW.
