Organized by the 16th Engineering Bureau of China Electricity Construction Corporation (CECC), the owner of Zimbabwe National Power Company (ZPC) and the project supervisor HATCH conducted the factory acceptance of 250t bridge machine in our factory from 25th to 27th September 2015.

Kariba South Bank Hydropower Station Expansion Project is an EPC project contracted by CECC and ZPC, which is also an important project initiated by Zimbabwean President Mugabe himself. Our company undertook the task of designing and manufacturing two 250/50/10t-21.5m bridge cranes, the core lifting equipment responsible for the installation of the units.

The design of the bridge crane adopts our patented technology of high speed regulation ratio, the speed ratio of hoisting with load reaches 1:35, and the walking ratio reaches 1:67, which will greatly improve the installation precision and working efficiency of the bridge crane compared with the conventional speed regulation range of 1:10. This technology was recognized and highly evaluated by the owner of ZPC and the consulting engineer of HATCH at the design review meeting in April this year.

 According to the contract requirements, the manufacturing and inspection of the bridge must all adopt ASME standards and be approved and witnessed by HATCH consulting engineers. During the three-day acceptance process, ZPC owner and HATCH consulting engineers firstly checked all the quality documents and technical data of the equipment, and then came to Tonglu factory and tested the main structural dimensions and performance parameters of the 250t bridge crane on site, after checking the technical data of the bridge crane and all the main structural dimensions and performance parameters met the requirements of the contract and the technical specifications, and both the ZPC owner and the consulting engineers of the company and Sinohydro 16 Bureau expressed their approval of the products manufactured by our company. ZPC owner, HATCH consulting engineer and Sinohydro 16 Bureau all expressed their recognition of our products. In the last meeting on September 27, the final acceptance report was formed by all participating units, and the two 250t bridge cranes manufactured by Hangzhou Jianghe Company passed the acceptance and will be shipped out on time in October.
