The Mali Gouina Hydropower Station is located on the Senegal River in Mali, with a dam height of 19 meters, a total length of 1317 meters, and a storage capacity of 136 million cubic meters. Three axial flow water turbine generators are designed in the factory building, with a total installed capacity of 140 megawatts. After the completion of the Mali Gouina hydropower project, electricity will be transmitted to Mali, Senegal, and Mauritania through the regional power grid, effectively alleviating the shortage of electricity and energy in this region.
